About

I am a researcher, writer, and deep thinker. I am trained as a sociologist, and I am interested in AI and its impacts on society, the economy, social institutions like education, and work as we know it. In my last role, I led internal work on AI exploration, learning, integration, and governance. I am committed to equity and inclusion and have worked on various issues related to education, race and ethnicity, criminal justice, public policy, and social justice. I am an active listener, lifelong learner, critical thinker, and a thought partner to social change organizations. I have extensive experience with writing that is grounded in research. As a researcher, I specialize in qualitative research. I am skilled at drawing insights from data to make it useful and actionable and in producing high-quality deliverables that organizations can use to advance their vision and mission. I synthesize information from multiple sources and present it in a way that is clear and easy to understand. I am also able to connect the dots to tell a story with the research and data. I work well alone and with others as part of a team. I have managed team projects and workstreams, and I also provide advising and consulting services.
